GBE®

Fatigue & Creep Resistance

GBE® is a thermomechanical bulk metal processing technique that is used to create components that exhibit exceptional
high temperature fatigue-, creep-, and corrosion-resistance.

>Performance Benefits

GBE® process improves Ni Super Alloys by:

Increasing the resistance to stress corrosion cracking
and intergranular corrosion

Improving resistance to fatigue induced surface cracks

Greatly increasing high temperature creep resistance

Adding greater sulfidation resistance

Improving weldability

No new alloy qualification required

In many cases, exisitng manufacturing processes, can be
used or modified to achieve GBE® structures
